So because of my mythology kick...

I made this! With the intent to turn into a neato postcard to send to art directors and what not to promote myself. Hisssssss. Medusssssssaaaaaaahh....

SOTG7!!

Le Eiffel Tower

Le Arc du Triomphe

 Le Palais du Luxembourg

Le can you tell I'm getting lazy with this? I'm pretty sure you've at least heard of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc du Triomphe, but just in case you haven't heard Luxembourg (because I know I hadn't before I had taken this trip), it houses French parliament. I think. It was pretty though. Too bad I ran out of time to ink it before I had to leave with my travel group.

Did you know?

According to a friend who spends too much time on the internet, we got the word barbarian because people wanted to make fun of German invaders WAAAAAY back in ancienty kinds of times (I forget the time frame because this was told to me during vacation when my brain goes into sleep mode). Back then conquered peoples thought their conquerers' language sounded like this: "Bar bar bar bar. Bar bar? Bar bar bar. Bar."

SOTG6!!

The Parisian church addition!

Inside Notre Dame de Paris (again, wiki'ed that shiz for you so you can be reminded what the front looks like).

Inside Sainte Chapelle, a really pretty church close to Notre Dame. I swear it's 1/3 stained glass in there and the moste beautiful thing on a sunny day.

SOTG5! Paris!

Sketches from Paris for the Sketching on the Go series from here on out, folks. This is of the Louvre. If you don't know what that is then there seriously is no helping you at all. PERIOD.

Look! The Leaning Tower people followed me on my trip!

Also, here's some type (it's a little janky). I was in a restroom in the airport in Milan (getting ready to go to Paris), and on the little diagram that explained the sink was automatic there was the usual picture showing you wave your hand in front of the sensor to activate it along with the label, electric mixer. Go figure.

Another Miscellaneous Item

So, like the fake dagger ad, I did one for Hattori Hanzo swords (from Kill Bill). It's just a sketch, but I think it would be pretty rad if I ever had the time to make it final. I don't know why I made it.

And also, because I feel bad just leaving you with the one thing, here's another:
Have fun with that one.

Mythological Kick

So, while I was off running around in museums, I got on a mythological kick. So, here is Greek goddess of the hunt and wildlife, Artemis and goddess of just warfare, strategy, and general smarty-pants-ness, Athena.

Artemis

 Athena

I like how Artemis turned out better.

SOTG4!

Went to Venice while in Italy too (look I Wikipedia'ed it for you)! A little bit of a questionable decision for me since I'm so prone to motion sickness and one of the major modes of transportation there is boat. Ugh.

Anyways, a church with people in front of it! The Basilica di San Marco. Would've drawn the Doge's Palace too if I hadn't been shooed away by security (because a lone Filipino girl drawing buildings is sooo threatening).
